Productivity Places Program (PPP) for Job Seekers

Work Savvy is working for Auswide Projects to deliver qualifications to Job Seekers in Penrith.

These courses are funded under the Productivity Places Program.

These qualifications are generally completed in a classroom format, however distance education or evening classes are available on application.

Enrolments are being accepted for the following Diploma courses (please click Diploma course for course flyer)

 

Diploma of Business

DUAL qualification - Diploma of Management AND Diploma of Retail Management (graduates get 2 diplomas!)

**LATE ENROLMENTS** Students enrolling after 30 November 2009 will be required to complete their first module via distance education and will commence classroom training in February 2010. Late enrolments will be accepted until the 24th December.

 

How To Enrol

Option 1 - Visit one of our offices, collect and complete forms on the spot. We will provide resources for your first module immediately. For address details, click here

Option 2 - Download the following forms and return to our office. Forms can be faxed to 4722 2013 or delivered to either of our offices. Original documents will need to be posted or delivered as soon as possible.

Costs

While the DET NSW are funding these qualifications, they have imposed compulsory administration fees. These fee's are exactly the same as TAFE NSW, however our courses do not require the purchase of text books.

  • $50 Concession Fee for eligible recipients of Government Allowances (eg Newstart) OR
  • FREE for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders and People in receipt of DSP
  • If you do not meet one of the above concession / exemption criteria, you will need to pay a $607 DET NSW Administration Fee per semester (classroom delivery complete in one semester)
  • All texts books FREE

 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must be a NSW Resident and: 

  • registered with an Job Services Australia provider, or

  • an income support recipient who is not currently required to meet activity test or participation requirements, or

  • a participant in the Community Development Employment Projects scheme, or

  • not currently working and seeking or intending to seek paid employment or self-employment after completing training - this definition includes people 15-19 years of age who are not formally enrolled in school and in paid employment for 15 hours or less in the week prior to commencement of training, or people 20 years of age or older who have been in paid employment for one hour or less in the week prior to commencement of training, or

  • a participant in the Commonwealth's Access Program, or

  • not working and participating in volunteering activities.
  • Applicants who are studying full-time or in another training program are not eligible for the program.
