Providing a Workable Learning Environment

If a person disrupts the smooth flow and progress of a course, Work Savvy Parents reserves the right to ask that person to leave the course. If action is taken under this clause, no refund is given and we will send written reasons to whoever booked that place.


Confirming Your Course

Course bookings are to be confirmed by email, fax or letter. Confirmation will include details of the planned workshop or service.


Paying Invoices

Payment terms are 7 days from receipt of invoice.


Goods and Services Tax

Any GST applicable to Work Savvy Parents is included in the invoice.


Training room facilities

If training is conducted on client premises, or the client uses another location, the client is responsible for supplying an appropriate room and equipment.


Fees for Cancelling Training

Any associated costs due to cancellation of the training are also the responsibility of the client. If training is to be held within 48 hours of authorisation and there are special freight charges for courseware, these are added to the invoice.


Rescheduling a Course

Work Savvy Parents makes every effort to deliver courses on the scheduled date. However, there may be circumstances where it is necessary to change course dates or cancel a course. Work Savvy Parents reserves the right to do so. If confirmation has been received, we contact every client involved to discuss alternatives. We offer clients the options of: booking on another date/course; using the fee for 1:1 training or having a full refund.

All efforts are made to notify participants of a cancellation or rescheduling at least 7 business days before the scheduled date.


Providing Public Liability Insurance

Work Savvy Parents has Public Liability Insurance in excess of $1million. If training is on a client’s premises, the client is responsible for providing adequate workplace related occupational health and safety insurance and any other insurance for participant related risk while attending training. The client indemnifies Work Savvy Parents from any such claims.


Retaining Proprietary Rights to all Training Materials

Work Savvy Parents retains proprietary rights to all training materials, all training needs, except where these incorporate the client’s confidential or propriety information. Our training materials are provided for single use by individual participants during and after their course. Written permission of Work Savvy Parents is required for any other use and course materials may not be sold, duplicated or re-used.


Cancelling or Transferring a Booked Course

If you wish to cancel or postpone a booking Work Savvy Parents must receive written notification of the cancellation or postponement – by letter, fax or e-mail. We must also have confirmed this in writing. Attendees may be substituted at any time up to the start time of the course without additional charge to the client.

  • Notice given within 0-5 working days prior to course commencement of transfer or cancellation incurs 80% fee to the client.
  • Notice given within 6-10 working days prior to course commencement of transfer or cancellation incurs a 25% fee to the client.
  • If notice is given over 10 working days prior to course commencement, no penalties are incurred

Unable to continue a course

After starting a course, if a participant is unable to attend a subsequent day(s), the remaining days are


No Warranties are Expressed or Implied

Every care is taken in the design and delivery of all Work Savvy Parents courses and materials.

Attending and/or completing a course does not imply or express a warranty that the information or training is relevant to the specific needs of the individual. The organisation booking the course is responsible for ensuring the course is appropriate for the participant.


Qualifications & Industry Experience of Personnel

Work Savvy Parents are very fussy about the staff chosen to present our programs, however no warranty, express or implied is given to the qualifications or skills of Work Savvy Parents staff


Protecting Client Confidentiality

Work Savvy Parents will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about your clients. We take confidentiality very seriously and we are willing to sign any confidentiality agreement you deem necessary
